The Tamang Heritage Trek itinerary is similar to the Langtang Valley Trek and the Ganesh Himal Base Camp Trek. It is a pristine adventure that lets you observe the nomadic lifestyle of people of Lama origin. Although this is considered the land of the snow leopard, you also have a chance of spotting the red panda along the trail. Drive to Syabrubesi (1,400 m), approximately 8 hours. Overnight at teahouse.
Trek to Gatlang (2,200 m), approximately 5 hours. Overnight at teahouse.
Trek to Tatopani (2,607 m), approximately 6 hours. Overnight at teahouse.
Trek to Thuman (2,400 m) via Brimdang and Nagthali, approximately 6 hours. Overnight at teahouse.
Trek to Briddim (2,345 m), approximately 6 hours. Overnight at teahouse.
Trek to Lama Hotel (2,470 m), approximately 6 hours. Overnight at teahouse.
Trek to Langtang Village (3,200 m), approximately 5 hours. Overnight at teahouse.
Trek to Kyanjin Gompa (3,950 m), approximately 5 hours. Overnight at teahouse.
Acclimatization day in Kyanjin Gompa. Optional hikes to Langsisa Kharka, Langtang Lirung Glacier, or Tserko Ri (5,000 m). Overnight at teahouse.
Trek back to Lama Hotel (2,400 m), approximately 6 hours. Overnight at teahouse.
Trek to Syabrubesi (1,400 m), approximately 5 hours. Overnight at teahouse.
Drive back to Kathmandu. Overnight at hotel.
Transfer to the international airport for your final flight departure.
Airport to hotel to airport pickup and drop-off by private car, van, or bus.

Dear guest, should you require additional accommodation in Kathmandu, we are pleased to offer the following rates: US$60 per person per night for a single room and US$35 per person per night for a double (twin sharing) room, both inclusive of breakfast.
