Trip Overview

A closer look

Nepal, despite being a landlocked country, is the second richest country in the world in terms of water resources, which makes it an excellent destination for water tourism. Among the many water activities, white water rafting is the most popular. Nepal is blessed with numerous swift rivers originating directly from the glacial meltwater of the Himalayas, and the currents are perfectly suited for adventurous rapids. The Trishuli River Rafting package is a contemporary white water rapids adventure that can be tailored for any age group. Family rafting, children’s rafting, and adrenaline-pumping rapids are all possible on the Trishuli. Only a short distance from Kathmandu, this is an ideal break-away activity if you want to escape the city.

Just about 2.5 hours from Kathmandu, these white water rapids offer great excitement on a river originating from the sacred lake of Gosaikunda. The lake, which lies along the Langtang Gosaikunda Trek route, is the source of this beautiful river. After a short training lesson from your rafting captain, you will be ready to feel the river’s adventure. There are several named rapids along the route, including Butterfly, Landslide, and Surprise, which provide plenty of thrills. Lunch is served on the riverbank, and there are free swimming spots along this deep river. The Trishuli River Rafting starts either from Benighat or Charaudi, your choice. Overnight is on the beach beside the river. Enjoy a barbecue or bonfire with friends and family. It is a perfect break from monotonous routines. Tented accommodation or a hotel can be arranged on request. You can also extend your trip to Chitwan or Pokhara.

From easy grades to professional-level runs, Nepal has always been a leader in adventure white water rafting. Whether you are with family, solo, friends, or a group, Trishuli River Rafting is a great choice. Get acquainted with the mighty rivers of Nepal that flow through hills, canyons, forests, villages, and terraced farmlands.
