Trip Overview

A closer look

The Thorong La Pass Trek, also known as the mini Annapurna Circuit Trek, takes you from the world’s highest pass to the deepest gorge along one of the classic Himalayan journeys. The trek includes rich biodiversity and cultural diversity, from subtropical forests to high alpine terrain, from arid semi-desert landscapes resembling the Tibetan Plateau to colorful rhododendron forests.

The climax of the Thorong La Pass Trek is the challenging and imposing Thorong La, which will take your breath away at 5,416 m.

The Thorong La Pass Trek has long been a trekker’s favorite. Recent developments on the western approach have also created excellent conditions for mountain biking, and a 4WD jeep drive is possible up to Chame.

Experience the beauty and tranquility of the Annapurna mountains. If you would like to trek the Annapurna Circuit and fly out from Jomsom in less than two weeks, the Thorong La Pass Trek is the perfect holiday for you.
