Four days is enough for the heart of Bhutan. Paro and Thimphu, the two cities that define Bhutan's identity, plus the Tiger's Nest hike. Perfect as a standalone trip or a post-trek Nepal add-on. All-inclusive with guide, meals, SDF, and visa.
Four days covering the cultural core of Bhutan. Paro and Thimphu contain the country's most important landmarks: Rinpung Dzong, the National Museum, Kyichu Lhakhang, Buddha Dordenma, Tashichho Dzong, and the Tiger's Nest.
The Tiger's Nest hike is the defining Bhutan experience: Taktsang Monastery clings to a cliff 900 meters above the Paro Valley. The 6.4 km round trip takes 4 to 5 hours, with a pony option for the first half. Photography is not permitted inside, but the approach is unforgettable.
This tour works perfectly as a Nepal add-on. Fly from Kathmandu to Paro the morning after your trek ends. We process your Bhutan visa while you are trekking. SDF reduced to $100/night until August 2027.
Four days is enough. Not to see all of Bhutan, but to see the heart of it. This tour covers Paro and Thimphu, the two cities that contain Bhutan's most important cultural landmarks, and ends with the Tiger's Nest hike, the single most iconic experience in the country.
In Paro: the National Museum (Ta Dzong), Rinpung Dzong, Kyichu Lhakhang (one of Bhutan's oldest temples, 7th century), and Taktsang Monastery (Tiger's Nest). In Thimphu: the Memorial Chorten, Buddha Dordenma, Tashichho Dzong, the Painting School, Folk Heritage Museum, and the Takin Preserve.
The itinerary is compact but not rushed. One full day in Paro, one full day in Thimphu, and the Tiger's Nest hike gets its own dedicated morning with an afternoon transfer. No 5 AM departures, no skipping sites to save time.
This tour works well as a standalone trip or as an add-on to a Nepal trekking package. Just finished Everest Base Camp or the Annapurna Circuit? Fly to Bhutan for four days of cultural immersion before heading home. It is the perfect cooldown after a physical trek.
Mountain Hawk Trek handles everything from Kathmandu: Bhutan visa, SDF payment, hotel, meals, guide, transport, and all entrance fees.
