Trip Overview

A closer look

The scenic bus drive of about 4.5 hours takes you from Kathmandu to Chitwan. Considered the third-largest tourist destination in Nepal after Kathmandu and Pokhara, Chitwan is home to Chitwan National Park. The Chitwan Jungle Safari Tour begins once you check in to one of the hotels inside or near the park. Your evening is filled with fun as you witness the unique dances, songs, and food of the Tharu community. Sightings of the one-horned rhino, wild buffalo, tigers, river dolphins, gharials, crocodiles, deer, and countless species of butterflies, insects, and vegetation make the trip truly alluring. Whether taken by jeep or elephant, the safari offers boundless adventure and fun. The view of the sun setting on the horizon of the forest at the riverbank with some local brews is an experience to remember.

Mountain Hawk is delighted to present the Chitwan Jungle Safari Tour package for those who wish to explore the indigenous Tharu community and the diverse natural setting of Chitwan. Expert guidance from our touring team and full logistical support make the trip truly memorable. If your visit coincides with the Elephant Polo competition, it adds an extra highlight to the trip.
