Crossing the Cho La Pass is a challenging yet exhilarating part of the trek. Located at 5,420 m (17,782 ft), it is a high mountain pass that connects the Gokyo Valley with the Khumbu Valley, leading toward Everest Base Camp. The sense of achievement and the stunning vistas make the Cho La Pass crossing a memorable experience.
The ultimate highlight of the trek is reaching Everest Base Camp itself. This iconic destination lies at 5,364 m (17,598 ft) and serves as the starting point for mountaineers attempting to summit Mount Everest.

This is a serious 15-day trek and you will be trekking up to 6 to 8 hours a day, sometimes at altitudes above 5,000 m. Good physical and mental fitness is essential.
Lodges along the trek may charge extra for camera and phone battery recharging.
Travelers under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
There is a genuine risk of Acute Mountain Sickness (AMS) on this trip, as it includes one or more overnight stays above 3,500 m.
