Trip Highlights

The moments that matter most

Pisang Peak rises directly above the Annapurna Circuit trail. The base camp is just a few hours above Upper Pisang, making it one of the most accessible trekking peaks in the Annapurna region.

The summit slope is steep but straightforward snow. On clear mornings, the entire Marsyangdi valley stretches below with Annapurna II and Gangapurna filling the southern skyline.

Combining the peak with Thorong La gives you a 6,091m summit and a 5,416m pass crossing in 15 days.

Trip Overview

A closer look

Pisang Peak Climbing is a 15-day expedition combining the Annapurna Circuit with a summit attempt on Pisang Peak (6,091m). The peak rises above Upper Pisang village on the circuit trail. Base camp is established on a plateau at approximately 4,380m. The summit route follows a steep snow slope to the top with views of Annapurna II, Gangapurna, and the Marsyangdi valley.

After the summit attempt, the route continues along the Annapurna Circuit through Manang and over Thorong La Pass (5,416m) to Muktinath. Two high-altitude experiences in 15 days.

Permits: ACAP, TIMS, NMA peak permit. All included.

For a more technical Annapurna peak, Chulu West Peak (6,419m) is higher with ice wall climbing in 18 days. For the circuit without climbing, the Annapurna Circuit Trek is 20 days (USD 1,825).
