Everest Base Camp tour on Tibetan trail takes you to Lhasa anyway. In Lhasa, there are different ancient and religious sites to explore such as Jokhang Temple, Potala Palace, Sera monastery etc. the journey continues through Gyantse to Shigatse along the way, and there are opportunities to view natural scenarios of lake, mountain and glaciers too. Visiting Tashilunpho Monastery enriches the spiritual feeling before reaching base camp.

Day03 Fly from Kathmandu to Lhasa (3660meters). Overnight at hotel.

Day04 Sightseeing in Lhasa. Overnight at hotel.

Day05 Second day of sightseeing in Lhasa. Overnight at hotel.

Day06 Drive to Gyantse (3950meters) – 261 k.m. Overnight at hotel.

Day07 Drive to Shigatse (3900meter) – 90 k.m. Overnight at hotel.

Day08 Drive to Shegar (New Tingri) (4050meters) – 244 k.m. Overnight at hotel.

Day09 Drive to Ronguk (5000meters) – 68K.m. Overnight at hotel.

Day10 Hike to Everest Base Camp (5150meters) and back to Rongbuk (5000meters) and drive back to Tingri (4390meters) – 65 k.m. Overnight at hotel.

Day11 Drive to Zhangmu (2300meters) – 181 k.m. Overnight at hotel.

Day12 Drive to Kathmandu(1345 meters). Overnight at hotel.

Day13 Leisure day in Kathmandu. Overnight at hotel.

Day14 Transfer for your final flight departure.

  • Nepal entry visa, you can obtain a visa easily upon your arrival at Tribhuwan International Airport in Kathmandu. (US$ 30or equivalent foreign currency is required to obtain Tourist Visa with Multiple Entry for 60 days. You will also require 2 passport size photos.)
