In Hinduism, m Shiva is the god of destruction and transformation whereas Brahma is the creator. Tibetans call this mountain as Kang Rimpoche. Pre-Buddhist shamanistic community regards Mt. Kailash as the soul of Tibet. Jains call Mt. Ashtapada which is the place from where the religion is found.
Mt. Kailash (6714m.), very sacred for the people of Asia and other countries who follow Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism and Bonism is not visited not more than some thousands people because of its remoteness. The region is very important which has religious aspects to be visited as well as to get spiritually blessed. The single round trek to the mountain is supposed to be enough to erase all the sins of life committed ever.
Kailash Manasarovar Tour is the trekking to Manasarovar Lake at the altitude of 4510m on the Tibetan Plateau. This trek is to take bath in the lake after walking round the lake which is the trek of 85 km. Hindus believe having bath in this lake directly reserves the seat in Brahma’s paradise and holy sipping of the water is enough to release the sins and nirvana from the cycle of birth-death.
Kailash Manasarovar tour or Kailash Yatra is challenging and difficult trek. It is the journey to the high altitude with rough and rocky trails. Walking along the way to the remote area of Tibet requires enough strength and ability too. The tour is crossing the border of Nepal to Tibet therefore requires permissions such as passport and necessary documents.
Day 01 – Kathmandu – Rashuwagadhi -Kerung : (2800 Mts) 168 km [ 7-8 hours ]
Our representative will pick you up from hotel in Kathmandu in the morning then we will drive through small mountain roads to the border at Nepalese side, on the way you can enjoy the waterfall, rivers & forest. After arriving in Kerung, We will meet our Tibetan guide and driver at Nepal-Tibet border and make the necessary immigration paper work and then continue our drive to Kerung town at the distance of 20 Km. Overnight in Hotel Kerung.
Day 02- Kerung : (2800 M)
One day rest in kerung for acclimatization and preparation of hiking. Overnight in Kerung. Overnight in Hotel (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner).
Day 03- Kerung – saga or Paryng : ( 4350M) 160 km [ 5-6hours ]
After breakfast your journey will start to saga through Ghantula pass (5226 meter) viewing the beautiful scenery of Bramhaputra river. Overnight in Hotel (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner).
Day 04- Saga –Mansarovar : (4500 M) 466 km [ 7-8 hours ]
After breakfast you will start your journey to Mansarovar through dongpa mahim la pass and first sight of Holy Kailash Parbat and Mansarovar throung Beautiful surroundings. Overnight in Hotel (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner).
Day 05- Mansarovar –Darchen : (4500-4600M) 40 km [ 2-3 hours ]
After finishing the holy bath and ritual puja in Mansarovar Lake, we will continue our drive to Darchen which is also known as base camp of Mount Kailash. Overnight in Guest House(Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner). Sharing Toilet
Day 06- Darchen – Dirapuk : (5000-5100M) 18 km [ 5-6 hours]
After the morning breakfast, the drive will start for about 7 km by Bus to Yamadwar. The journey of hiking trip starts by walking along the beautiful hills waterfalls and beautiful clear blue sky facing the great view of mount kailash. Overnight in Guest House. Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner Sharing Toilet.
Day 07- Dera puk- Zuthul puk : (4800-4900M) 22 km [ 7-8 hours ]
Before Sunrise your journey begins from Dera puk to zuthul puk passing the highest pass Dolma La pass (of height 5630 Meter) and viewing the holy place gauri kunda on the way .BY afternoon you will reach to Zuthul puk .Overnight in Zuthul puk. Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner Sharing Toilet.
Day 08- Zuthul puk –saga: (4300-4400 M) 479 km [ 7-8 hours ]
The journey of the hiking trip ends after walking for over 2 hours for distance of around 10 km. After morning breakfast you will return to saga by bus. Overnight in Guest House. Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner
Day 09- Saga – Kerung : (2700- 2800 M) 160 km [4-5 hours]
After morning Breakfast your drive will start from saga to kerung. Overnight in Kerung. Veg Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner.
Day 10 – Kerung –Kathmandu: – 1350 Meter 168 km [7-8 hours ]
After morning Breakfast your drive will start from Kerung to Kathmandu through Rasuwagadhi, after reaching Kathmandu at the evening our journey will be completed. Veg Breakfast.
