Trail conditions in June
The trail itself holds up well. This is a valley walk on a well-built path rather than a high crossing, and mud and slick rock are the main complaints rather than anything serious. The steep forest section between Syabrubesi and Lama Hotel is where care is needed.
Leeches are heavy below about 2,800m through the forest, and absent above it. That is a meaningful advantage over the Annapurna monsoon treks, where the leech zone extends much closer to the high country. Two days of your Langtang trek are leech territory; the rest is not.
The upper valley is green and empty and completely closed in. Kyanjin Gompa in June cloud is a handful of stone buildings in white, and Tserko Ri is pointless on most days.
