Chulu West Peak climbing offers superb Himalayan views of the Annapurna region, the beautiful vast landscapes and ethnic cultures and traditions.

Chulu West Peak climbing journey begins from Besisahar after a 5 to 6 hours drive from Kathmandu and reach as far as Pisang village. From here the trail leads us steadily straight into the Manang valley, one of the highest valleys of the world situated at an altitude of 5000m. Once we achieve this initial target of climbing this valley, we acclimatize and in between our rest, we take some time to explore the Manang valley and try to get an insight into the lifestyle, culture, tradition of the ethnic groups and tribes inhabiting this exotic region. From Manang valley the route heads north to lead into the Chulu West Base Camp. The gigantic views of the mountains and landscapes include the Manaslu massif and Annapurna massifs are very attractive while trekking to Chulu West Peak and returning from top.

This memorable adventure slowly comes to an end in Jomsom, a place providing ample opportunities to explore the diverse flora and fauna all along the trekking trail. From Jomsom we fly back to Pokhara and then to Kathmandu.

Chulu West Peak can be attempted by individuals having a moderate level of fitness.
