Unravel the spiritual valley of Langtang and behold the enigmatic valley of glaciers, mountains, sub-tropical to temperate forests and multiethnic Himalayan people. Drive to Lanatang Valley from Kathmandu that stuns you with wild and serene views of massive snowcapped peaks to beautiful glaciers. Discover surprisingly verdant midlands and stay in villages to immerse yourself in Tamang culture and connect with locals. All this, and we haven’t mentioned the panoramic views of mountain vistas and prestine landscape that we can see during the trek. This trek itinerary takes you to an altitude of 4000m and if you want to go higher, you’d not want to miss seeing the sunrise from Tserko Ri at 5000m. The villages in this valley were destroyed during the April 2015 earthquake. The people of this region are slowly coming to normalcy and your mere visit can become enormous foundation for them to rise again. This trek is perfect for adventurous and active traveler looking for something different that lies well of the tourist trail.
