    Overview

    Jomsom Valley Muktinath Trek is one of the classic treks in Annapurna region which offers you some beautiful views of the incredible mountains vistas, unique temples and monasteries along the windy valley of Kaligandaki river. This trek is famous for Muktinath temple situated at 3800m being a significant site for Hindus and Buddhist devotees and mountain lovers. This trek offers you the unique culture and tradition of the people who practice their ancient traditions even these days. Jomsom valley Muktinath trek starts from Jomsom after the flight followed by a trek to Kagbeni. The beautiful Kagbeni on the bank of Kaligandaki River can be photographer’s paradise. The sin and holy pond as well as 108 spouts will definitely pull you towards the mysterious creation of nature and culture. This trek can be done by any age group but requires excellent fitness. Witness the majestic sunrise on Annapurna Himalayan Range from PoonHill and trek to Lake City Pokhara.

    Day 01 – Arrival in Kathmandu airport (1345meters). Overnight at hotel.

    Day 02 – Pre-trip Meeting and Sightseeing around Kathmandu valley. Overnight at hotel.

    Day 03 – Drive to Pokhara (865meters) 6hour. Overnight at hotel.

    Day 04 – Fly to Jomsom and trek to Kagbeni (2800meters) 3hour. Overnight at hotel.

    Day 05 – Trek to Muktinath (3800meters) 5hour . Overnight at hotel.

    Day 06 – Trek to back to Marpha(2610meters) 6hour . Overnight at hotel.

    Day 07 – Trek to Gasha (1970meters) 6 hour. Overnight at hotel.

    Day 08 – Trek to Tatopani (1100meters) 6 hour . Overnight at hotel.

    Day 09 – Trek to Ghorepani(2800meters) 7hour . Overnight at hotel.

    Day 10 – Trek to Tikhedunga (1365meters) 5hour. Overnight at hotel.

    Day 11 – Trek to Nayapul and Drive back to Pokhara one hour. Overnight at hotel.

    Day 12 – Sightseeing around Pokhara. Overnight at hotel. Overnight at hotel.

    Day 13 – Drive back to Kathmandu. Overnight at hotel.

    Day 14 – Leisure day in Kathmandu Overnight at hotel.

    Day 15 – Transfer to international airport for your final flight departure.

    • Even though this trek looks easy, we cannot underestimate our fitness. So, one has to have excellent fitness and mentality.
    • All the travelers under the age of 12 years must be accompanied by an adult.
    • There is a genuine risk of being affected by Acute Mountain Sickness (AMS) as this trip includes one or more overnight stays over 3500meters.
    • The lodges that we stay in during the trek are very simple with basic facilities. Hot water and electricity may not be available all the time.

    Note:- Tight fitting, figure-hugging clothing, such as those made with Lycra can often be offensive to locals, especially on women. If you find these items comfortable as a base layer then please pack something to wear over the top of them.
