Nepal is the crown jewel of Asia: the birthplace of Lord Buddha, the cradle of an ancient spiritual culture, and the home of eight of the ten highest mountains in the world, including the supreme peak, Mt. Everest. A trekking or walking holiday in Nepal is a life-changing experience. You will not only be mesmerized by stunning panoramic landscapes of the majestic Himalayas, with their unique flora and fauna, breathtaking waterfalls and spectacular glaciers, but you will be transported to another time, another world: a world of culture, song, dance and mysticism, of reverence for nature, of joy in the simple pleasures that life brings us every day.
Nepal offers spectacular destinations suitable for adventurous people of all physical abilities, from demanding mountain climbing to leisurely walking holidays. We custom-design itineraries for many regions of Nepal, including Everest, Annapurna, Manaslu, Mustang, Kanchenjunga, Dolpo, Langtang and the Makalu Arun Valley.
Nepal provides ideal conditions for your adventure holiday year-round. February to May and September to November are the best times for adventure trekking due to cool temperatures, dry conditions, the profusion of wildflowers, clear blue skies and stunning views of the Himalayas. Nights during the winter months (December to February) can be cold, but the days are sunny and comfortable in the foothills and valleys, and the panoramic views of the Himalayas are at their best! During the monsoon season (June to August) we offer walking treks in rain-shadow regions such as Mustang, Dolpo and Upper Manang. In short, Nepal is the ultimate destination for your mountain climbing, trekking and walking holiday. Pick your time of year and level of desired physical activity, and let us work with you to design your perfect adventure holiday!
We provide customized trekking itineraries and organize adventure holidays that range from easy walks through villages and nearby countryside, to strenuous treks in remote areas.
No previous trekking experience is required for our walking holidays and no special level of physical fitness is necessary. Whatever level of walking, hiking or trekking you choose, we will teach you the skills you need to safely enjoy your holiday of a lifetime.
We provide adventure holidays year-round.
Spring and autumn are the best seasons for trekking the Everest, Annapurna, Manaslu, Mustang, Kanchenjunga, Dolpo and Langtang regions, and the Makalu Arun Valley. Summer is the best time for exploring the Dolpo and Upper Mustang regions.
We provide well-designed itineraries, and local trekking and tour guides who are intimately familiar with the area, including the folklore and customs of the region you are exploring. We encourage responsible trekking in Nepal, and will ensure that your holiday is eco-friendly and supports the local community.
Upper Mustang Trek
My wife and I went to Upper Mustang in October of 2016 with Prem Pandit from Mountain Hawk Treks. I can only say that it was the most remarkable trip we've ever been on. Mustang is vast, stark, raw, remote, and to date, unspoiled.

Prem was my guide and friend during my Everest Base Camp - Gokyo trek in Oct 2007. Prem is an excellent guide in many ways. He has great knowledge of the mountains, the people, the cultures and special things that only an experienced local guide can provide

Best trekking Company for Gokyo valley
Only 2 members of our team of 18 had been to Nepal before and both times with Prem and his team at Mountain Hawk (MH). The fact that we chose MH again is a testament to their excellent organisation and ability to manage such a large group.

Recommend Mountain Hawk for anyone going trekking in Nepal
Mountain Hawk were recommended to me by friends who trekked with them last year on their honeymoon. From the organising perspective, couldn't have been easier. Prem was quick to reply to any emails as I worked out exactly what I wanted to, which ended up going to Chitwan NP and doing the Everest Base Camp trek.

Annapurna Circuit in May
it was great while we were there together on the mountains etc. All in the same boat and as they say that sinking feeling but we were adamant and were keen on not letting the ship drown and carried on and persevered and eventually we saw light at the end of the tunnel - literally - we reached muktinath -a very holy place for buddhists and hindus alike !!!
