Wildlife safaris in Nepal can be outstanding. The country has 167 species of mammals, more than 848 species, more than 500 species butterfly, 319 species of exotic orchids, 600 indigenous plant families and Asia's highest birds species, good numbers of one heron rhino, plenty of royal Bengal tigers and many endemic species.
Nepal consists of nine national parks, four wildlife reserves and three conservation areas. It is undoubtedly one of the best wildlife safari destinations in Asia, especially for elephant safari .You can make adventurous Jungle Safari on elephant back or on a jeep ride in Chitwan National Park, Bardia National Park, Parsa Wildlife and Koshi Tappu wildlife reserve. Chitwan National Park is one of the popular national parks with its unique wildlife like Royal Bengal Tiger and Great One-horned Rhinoceros. Similarly, in Bardia National Park, one can make adventurous jungle safari to explore the natural habitats in wilderness.
The best months to make Jungle Safari in Nepal are during the period of September to May.
