Mera Peak Climbing is spectacular and peculiar because of the trail and itinerary. Climbers will take the different route other than usual Everest Base Camp Trek route. 18 days of thrill filled journey presents the grandeur of the Hinku and Honga Valleys with its grassy meadows and green lush woods. This is enchanted land and your trip towards the base camp passing by the places like Khare, Kothe, Khartitang, Thangnag from Lukla. If you have mindset that Everest region is all about the thin air and high altitude rocky ravines then you will be surprised to see the green landscape and vegetations in this route. The stay in Mera La features the training to get acquainted with the altitude, climbing gears and conditions. Once you are on the top of the mountain the spectacular Himalayas view as far as Everest will make you feel worth of every penny spent for the peak climbing in Nepal. It is very rare that the mountain can be handy for the ski as well. OUTLINE ITINERARY

Day 01 - Arrival in Kathmandu airport (1345meters). Overnight at hotel.

Day 02 - Pre-trip Meeting and Sightseeing around Kathmandu valley. Overnight at hotel.

Day 03 - Morning fly to Lukla (2800 meters) trek to Chutang (3020meters) 4 hours. Overnight at teahouse.

Day 04 - Trek to Khartitang (3900meters) via Zatrawa La Pass (4610meters) 6 hours. Overnight at teahouse.

Day 05 - Trek to Kothe (4095meters) 5 hours. Overnight teahouse.

Day 06 - Trek to Thangnag (4,350meters) 6 hours. Overnight at teahouse.

Day 07 - Rest and acclimatization day at Thangnag, visit Sabal Tsho Lake, acclimatization hike to the cairn (5271m) on the flank of Kusum Kangaroo peak. Overnight at teahouse.

Day 08 - Trek to Khare (4900meters) 4 hours. Overnight at tented cam teahouse.

Day 09 - Trek to Mera La (5415meters) and Base Camp (5300m) 5 hours  train to become familiar with using crampons, rope and ice axe, camping.. Overnight at tented camp.

Day 10 - Climb Base Camp to High Camp (5800meters) 5 hours. Overnight at tented camp.

Day 11 - Summit to Mera peak (6654meters) and then return to Khare (4900meters) 10 hours. Overnight at teahouse.

Day 12 - Spare day in case of bad weather. Overnight at teahouse.

Day 13 - Trek to Khothe(3600 meters). 6 hours. Overnight at teahouse.

Day 14 - Trek to Thuli Kharka(4200 meters) 6 hours. Overnight at teahouse.

Day 15 - Trek to Lukla (2804 meters) 7 hours. Overnight at teahouse.

Day 16 - Morning flight to Kathmandu. Overnight at hotel.

Day 17 - Leisure in Kathmandu Overnight at hotel.

Day 18 - Transfer to international airport for your final departure.

Nepal entry visa fee (US$ 30 per person) you obtain a visa easily upon your arrival at Tribhuwan International Airport Kathmandu for 60 days from date of issue.You will require 2 passport size photos.
