Conquer the challenging Ganja La Pass (5,106m), offering an exhilarating adventure and breathtaking views of the surrounding Himalayan peaks. The pass provides a sense of achievement and rewards you with panoramic vistas of the Langtang and Ganesh Himal regions.
Embark on a Ganjala pass trek through pristine and less-explored landscapes, far from the crowds. Enjoy the serenity of untouched wilderness, rugged terrains, and alpine meadows, immersing yourself in the raw beauty of the Himalayas.
Encounter traditional Tamang and Sherpa villages along the way, experiencing their unique way of life and hospitality. Interact with locals, visit ancient monasteries, and immerse yourself in the rich cultural heritage of the region, adding depth to your trekking experience.
Embark on our splendid 14 days trek to Ganja La Pass Trekking that takes you to the famous Langtang Region and also to the height of 5130m. The region we explore comprises of blooming rhododendron and green bamboo forests, majestic waterfalls and snow capped Himalayas making it one of the most diverse treks near the capital of Nepal. Also, visit the Tamang and Sherpa villages and learn about their culture, lifestyle, and tradition. The chilled air and the soothing sound of the prayers as well as the serene smell of incense in Gompa will certainly leave trekkers with unforgettable memories.
Unlike the trek to Khumbu Region, we start this trip with a drive to Syaprubeshi and the trial of forests leads us to forest camp of Lama Hotel. We cross the Kaynjig Gompa, Ganja La Base camp, Ganja La Pass, Dhukpu, Tarkeghyang and end at Melamchi Pul Bazar in Helambu Region. this is probably the toughest journey during the passes trekking in Nepal. As you cross the high pass you will be welcomed by the green lush forests environment of Helambu. The bus drive from Melamchi will take you back to Kathmandu.
Conquering the Ganja La Pass Trek would be a great achievement due to it being an under trekked trial because of the difficulty and the requirement of basic mountaineering knowledge.
