Chulu West Peak (6,419m) is no doubt popular, yet a challenging peak for climbing situated in a little valley, which lies to the north of Manang in the Annapurna region. This is one of the peaks which can be seen from all the major trails of the Annapurna Thorung La-Pass. This peak offers you an exciting adventurous breathtaking view of Annapurna II, Annapurna III, Annapurna IV, Dhaulagiri, Nilgiri, Manaslu and Tilicho Peak. Chulu West Peak climbing offers superb Himalayan views of the Annapurna region, the beautiful vast landscapes and ethnic cultures and traditions.
Chulu West Peak climbing journey begins from Besisahar after a 5 to 6 hours drive from Kathmandu and reach as far as Pisang village. From here the trail leads us steadily straight into the Manang valley, one of the highest valleys of the world situated at an altitude of 5000m. Once we achieve this initial target of climbing this valley, we acclimatize and in between our rest, we take some time to explore the Manang valley and try to get an insight into the lifestyle, culture, tradition of the ethnic groups and tribes inhabiting this exotic region. From Manang valley the route heads north to lead into the Chulu West Base Camp. The gigantic views of the mountains and landscapes include the Manaslu massif and Annapurna massifs are very attractive while trekking to Chulu West Peak and returning from top. This memorable adventure slowly comes to an end in Jomsom, a place providing ample opportunities to explore the diverse flora and fauna all along the trekking trail. From Jomsom we fly back to Pokhara and then to Kathmandu.
Chulu West Peak can be attempted by individuals having a moderate level of fitness. Technically less challenging attracts large numbers of visitors every year to make and attempt and reach out for the summit. We have the best designed itineraries to suit this adventurous peak climbing journey according to the interest and time factor. An amazing life time experience while trekking in Nepal.

Upper Mustang Trek
My wife and I went to Upper Mustang in October of 2016 with Prem Pandit from Mountain Hawk Treks. I can only say that it was the most remarkable trip we've ever been on. Mustang is vast, stark, raw, remote, and to date, unspoiled.

Guest houses were very good and the food excellent.
Had a great trek to EBC with Mountain Hawk in March 2012. Badri was our excellent guide and Niraj our porter. Everything was organised so well and our safety came first. Guest houses were very good and the food excellent. I recommend Mountain Hawk to anybody.

Recommend Mountain Hawk for anyone going trekking in Nepal
Mountain Hawk were recommended to me by friends who trekked with them last year on their honeymoon. From the organising perspective, couldn't have been easier. Prem was quick to reply to any emails as I worked out exactly what I wanted to, which ended up going to Chitwan NP and doing the Everest Base Camp trek.
