What can we say !! Thank you for making our trek  so memorable and some thing we will never forget. Your knowledge, guidance and attending to all our requests ( especially those extra blankets) was fantastic.

Despite being so cold you have helped make our trek a fantastic experience. That  experience became that more enjoyable when we started beating you at our card games. We won’t forget you.

We will definitely be recommending MOUNTAIN HAWK  to future Trekkers.

Thanks for a very memorable Annapurna Trek that you and your group managed for my party. We found the Mountain Hawk team to be excellent, and everyone involved did their utmost to ensure our trip was successful, safe, and enjoyable. Our trek leader, Badri Karki was great, and he really went the extra mile to make sure our trekking experience was first rate.

Prem, from day 1 when we e mailed you , you have been very professional, friendly & helpful. You have gone above & beyond to ensure all our needs were met. Not even another nature could stop us having a great experience.
Aakash, you are a fantastic trek guide smart, compassionate, very knowledgeable on everything Nepali with a fun sense of humor too! It was a pleasure doing business with Mountain Hawk & we hope to come back again. Thanks so much! 
 

Mountain Hawk treks organized a great trek for my family and I during the month of August 2011. The team of porters and our guide were excellent and very attentive. We had beautiful weather and plenty of wildlife. All in all was everything we wanted. Will be coming back for sure!

it was great while we were there together on the mountains etc. All in the same boat and as they say that sinking feeling but we were adamant and were keen on not letting the ship drown and carried on and persevered and eventually we saw light at the end of the tunnel - literally - we reached muktinath -a very holy place for buddhists and hindus alike !!!
dipak did do a wonderful job and same for prem and his team - so a big asante sana
so hip hip hurray to us all for adding another chapter in our lives !! a milestone by any standards
mahesh it was apity we lost 'mzee' earlier on but we  inherited another mzee ....  you were sorely missed for your chili sauces etc and of course as been our senior member and the wisdom thats comes with it - but we all  have to heed the call from above and do what is the right thing for our health and safety !!
so hope all are ok and getting down to business of our daily routines and work loads and asking hte same question -should i be sitting at the desk and do what i do or take time out and do something more adventurous and meaningful ?

Mountain Hawk treks provided a fantastic trek to Everest Base Camp and Kalapattar. We had fantastic weather, wonderful wildlife sighting and a caring guide. A very enjoyable eleven day trek! We had the pleasure of meeting many tourists and local Sherpa people alilu. The traditional Nepali Dalbhat un proves…… as you walk down!  Fantastic atmosphere and feeling among the trekkers and guides. Our generous, fun- loving porter was an absolute champion!
 
 

My wife and I booked Mountain Hawk Trekking for four weeks in January 2010. Prem the owner of Mountain Hawk Trekking offered to be our guide for a short 6 day Annapurna trek followed by a 14 day Everest Base camp Trek. Prem was sensational and in a very short time was able to organise all our transport, accommodation, meals, extra clothing and porters for both treks. Prem looked after everything - all we had to do was fly into Nepal. Our holiday planning was effortless.
Prem has over 13 years experience trekking in Nepal and it shows. He had incredible knowledge of the areas we were trekking through and owing to his obvious popularity and friendship Prem was greeted enthusiastically by villagers as we passed through.
Unlike other trekkers we passed along the way, we did not get sick at all as Prem took exceptional care of both Trisha and I and was especially careful with our water and meals. There is always the risk of high altitude sickness. Other trekkers needed drugs and/or could not complete their ascent to Base camp and had to turn back, however we had no problems with altitude as once again Prem made sure that we spent sufficient time acclimatising to ensure our successful trek.
The four weeks we spent trekking with Prem in Nepal was without doubt the best holiday we have ever had. Prem provided us with professional, courteous, careful and considerate service. Unlike other larger trekking companies who had over twenty people in their group and appeared terribly overcrowded, Prem offers private one on one trekking. It was wonderful.
Seriously, if you want to go trekking in Nepal use Mountain Hawk Trekking. I have absolutely no hesitation recommending Prem and his team of professionals. In fact, we are already planing our next holiday with Prem.
 

Thank you Prem  for your guidance and hospitality on my trip around the Himalaya. It was a great trip, once I will never forget. Your knowledge of the mountains is amazing. I will no doubt be back and calling you  and join on Mountain Hawk  Trek again.

Prem was my guide and friend during my Everest Base Camp - Gokyo trek in Oct 2007. Prem is an excellent guide in many ways. He has great knowledge of the mountains, the people, the cultures and special things that only an experienced local guide can provide. Compared to other guides that I've come across in Nepal, he is genuinely a very fun person to trek with and you can see that this is his passion and not only business. His connections are very wide and all along the trek he has so many friends; porters, lodge owners, mountain guides, trekking guides, etc.

While there are many bigger trekking companies in Nepal, they are normally more expensive and less personal due to the size of the trekking groups. Therefore, I would highly recommend Prem's company to those who wants to have a very personal and professional guide who can show them the hidden secrets of Nepal while trekking. I will definitely be looking for Prem when I'm back trekking in Nepal.

"We completed the Everest Base Camp in December 2008 with Prem and we had an incredible time. When you have no previous serious trekking experience and no experience in Nepal, travelling with the right guide is the single most important element of your trip and we have to say we felt very lucky.
Prem was friendly and flexible, yet always gave us the space we needed. He is experienced and extremely knowledgeable about trekking, mountain and Nepali culture. With him we felt safe - we believe his advice contributed a great deal in us not getting altitude sickness - and well taken care of. He for example managed to get us the best rooms in the lodges we stayed in whenever he could - so all we had to do was to focus on enjoying our trip.
With his knowledge of less traveled trekking regions, including in India, as well as his experience of the most popular technical trekking peaks in Nepal, we felt that there is a lot more to discover and we will contact him for sure for our next trekking adventures.
