Langtang Region



Langtang  Region Langtang, the third most popular trekking region in Nepal lies directly north of Kathmandu  valley, the area was designated Nepal's first Himalayan National Park in 1971, it's inhabited by Tamang people whose religious practices. It is a rich cultural heritage and study centre of Tibetan Buddhism, Helmo and Tamang's people. Moderate To Rigorous trekking and dense Rhododendron forest , scenery of lofty Himalayan peak and easily approached and wonderful walk through a naturalist's trail.  The Gosaikunda Lakes (the most popular Hindu pilgrimage site) is situated in this region. Langtang also boasts baffling extremes in topography and climate conditions; in just one day you can cross five different vegetation zones, trekking from the subtropics up to the timberline.
