Specializing in Nepal, Tibet and Bhutan
We offer a more intimate wilderness experience than what typical large tour groups can provide. Our backpacking and package groups are small, and our attention to your individual needs begins with your first contact with us. We don't just take you on cookie-cutter trips, but customize the itinerary to your interests and physical ability. Most groups are composed of 4-5 participants and a guide. Ask us to provide references from past participants of our trekking holidays.
One of the things we pride ourselves on are extra touches, such as the special attention given to the culinary aspect of your trips. Most folks are pleasantly surprised at how attentive we are to providing local, tasty and nutritious food during our treks. Our trained guide decide what food will be served for each meal. No freeze-dried food from foil packets for us - our meals are made from natural ingredients, and are designed to provide not only the energy we need on the trail, but to make meal time a real treat.
Flexibility of Scheduling and Accommodating
We have group backpacking and package trips offered at scheduled times, but if you have your own group or want to trek alone, then you can schedule a trek anytime that works for you. We are very flexible and accommodating to your needs.
Truly memorable trip
This was our second trek with the Mountain Hawk team and it was just as well organised and fun as the first. We were in regular contact with Prem via telephone and skype during the build up to our trek.

Everest Base Camp and Kalapattar
ountain Hawk treks provided a fantastic trek to Everest Base Camp and Kalapattar. We had fantastic weather, wonderful wildlife sighting and a caring guide. A very enjoyable eleven day trek!
August 07, it was our first time in Nepal, and we decided to go to the Upper Mustang (there is no bad monsoon time there at this time). We were solucky, that Prem was our guide and companion during 2 weeks.
Annapurna Circuit in May
it was great while we were there together on the mountains etc. All in the same boat and as they say that sinking feeling but we were adamant and were keen on not letting the ship drown and carried on and persevered and eventually we saw light at the end of the tunnel - literally - we reached muktinath -a very holy place for buddhists and hindus alike !!!

Upper Mustang Trek
My wife and I went to Upper Mustang in October of 2016 with Prem Pandit from Mountain Hawk Treks. I can only say that it was the most remarkable trip we've ever been on. Mustang is vast, stark, raw, remote, and to date, unspoiled.
